SocialBu Video Hooks is a free library of short visual clips for opening Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok videos. Search by scene, action, or mood, preview the motion, and download an MP4 without creating an account.
From a clip to your own video
Every hook page shows its duration and dimensions. The built-in editor combines the hook with your own footage, lets you trim both clips and change their order, and exports a 1080 × 1920 MP4. You can also download the hook to use in your usual editor.
Your selected footage stays in your browser during preview. It uploads when you request an export. The editor accepts files up to 90 MB and ten minutes long; select up to 60 seconds of your own footage for the finished video.
How the library is organized
Clips are selected for a visible opening action, reaction, or reveal. Automated analysis describes the scene and checks for duplicates. Collections group clips by their titles and descriptions; a clip can appear in more than one collection.
These are editing resources. The library does not rank clips by views or engagement, and inclusion does not mean a clip will make your post go viral. Preview the full clip and choose an opening that fits the subject of your video.
Start with the annotated hook examples or follow the editing workflow. Developers and AI assistants can use the public API or MCP server.
